A brand is a person's "gut feeling" about a product, service, or company, rather than a logo, an identity system or a product itself. In the end brand is defined by individuals, not by companies, markets, or the so called general public. When enough individuals arrive at the same gut feelings, that can be considered as a brand. In other words, a brand is not what you say it is. It's what they say it is.
Branding is the process of bridging the gap between business strategy and creative execution (Logic + magic). Branding is the active work of aligning the company intends with what the customer actually perceives.
